I've been writing software since I was 14, and ever since then I've been driven by the same simple idea: great software should solve real problems, feel effortless to use, and quietly make life better.
As the founder of Zahara, I've spent years building systems that help businesses stay organised and in control, with our platform now processing nearly 15,000 invoices a day. But alongside the world of finance and document management, I've always had another passion close to home: motorbikes, the joy of ownership, and the reality that keeping a collection properly managed takes time and care.
MotorVault came from bringing those two worlds together. As a keen biker with my own collection of bikes, I wanted a better way to keep track of the important things — insurance documents, MOT dates, tax, renewals, certificates, and the endless bits of paperwork that come with owning vehicles you genuinely care about.
MotorVault is built on the same principles that shaped Zahara: reliable software, thoughtful design, and a belief that good systems should remove friction rather than create it. Where Zahara handles thousands of invoices every day for businesses, MotorVault is designed to look after your own garage just as carefully, filing everything away neatly and prompting you when something needs attention.
At heart, this is a product built by someone who enjoys solving problems and making people happy through well-made software. I've always believed the best products are the ones people recommend because they genuinely love using them, not because they were shouted at by marketing. That is very much our ethos with MotorVault: build it brilliantly, make it useful, and let people tell their friends.
Every feature in MotorVault exists because it solves a genuine pain point for vehicle owners. If it doesn't help, it doesn't ship.
We charge a fair annual price for a great product. Your data is yours — we will never sell it or use it for advertising.
We'd rather build something people love and recommend than spend money on marketing. If MotorVault is brilliant, you'll tell your friends.
